Surgical instruments, in some forms are nearly as old as the man himself. A visit to a modern factory, like Regal International producing over ten thousand different types of Surgical Instruments. 

It is surprising and interesting experience that how few members of the surgical trade and profession actually have idea about how, time consuming and painstaking it is to produce these instruments. It is nothing like pouring molten metal into molds or putting a piece of metal in a machine at one end to get a finished instrument at the other. With all the modern machines and techniques now available surgical instrument making still remains dominantly a handicraft of very special kind. 

Regal International can trace its history of this exclusive craftsmanship back to the late 19th century when our forefathers were making hand tools for warfare and agriculture as well as helping the local hospitals with repair of their instruments which mostly came from Britain at the time. It was in 1908 that a dedicated company called EAGLE IRON CO, after the name of its founder, actually came into being in Sialkot for the complete manufacture of surgical instruments. Regal International has been branched out of EAGLE IRON CO in 1985 to become another flag carrier of this proud family tradition of five generations.

Like Tuttlingen in Germany, Kotli Loharan, Heart of Sialkot City in the north east of Pakistan is one another real Surgical Instruments capital of the world. In fact the number of instruments are produced in Sialkot is far greater than those actually made in Tuttlingen. There are hundreds of small and large exporters in Sialkot offering every level of quality, from disposable to floor grade to O.R as may be required by the buyers. USA, UK and GERMANY are the largest importers of Pakistan made surgical instruments. The bulk, about 75% of production in Regal International is exported to the USA, UK, Europe and Gulf alone. So wherever in the world you may be, if you are not a direct customer of Regal International, the chances are that you are still receiving Regal International products indirectly, under American or German brand names. That is why we say Regal International is the "Spirit of Life" since 1985.

Foundation

In 1908, a dedicated company called Eagle Iron Co. was established.

Regal Internationl branched out from Eagle Iron Co. in 1985. 

CE Certificate

2008: Attained the prestigious CE certificate, ensuring compliance with European regulations and standards.

Initial Export to EU

2008: First export of quality medical devices to the European Union.

ISO 9001, ISO 13485 Certified

2009: Achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification, demonstrating our commitment to quality management systems for medical devices.

FDA Approved

2009: Received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, endorsing the safety and efficacy of our products.

2011: Participated in Medica, a renowned international trade fair for the medical industry, showcasing our innovative solutions.
