This double-ended instrument was designed to both identify the edge and easily dissect a LASIK flap created with a femtosecond laser. It is similar to the Benedetto Spatula with the benefit of a longer spatula (12.25mm) and longer beveled notches (2.25mm) for dissecting large adhesions that may be encountered. A modified Sinskey Hook on the opposite end of the instrument aids in finding an entrance site for the spatula to start the separation.
